Rahsheed Efrem Bullen was born on March 11, 1993, to the late Eunice Elaine Davenport and Duane Efrem Bullen. Growing up, Rahsheed attended elementary school in Hempstead, New York, before moving to Pennsylvania. He later returned to New York with his mother, where he continued his education and attended Job Corps.
Rahsheed was an inquisitive and intelligent young man. Although life presented its share of challenges and obstacles, he always found a way to make things work for him. He possessed a resilient spirit and approached life on his own terms. One of Rahsheed greatest passions was cooking. Whether he was preparing steaks, tacos, or any of his favorite dishes, he was truly a master in the kitchen. As his family would say, “He got it from his Momma.” His meals brought people together and reflected the love he had for those around him.
Rahsheed shared a special bond with his beloved Grandpa John. All of the cousin loved the car rides with grandpa. Rahsheed especially enjoyed riding around with him in the family van, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Grandpa John, known for his sense of humor, affectionately gave Rahsheed the nickname “Snub Nose,” a name that remained with him throughout his life. Those who knew Rahsheed will always remember his slight grin, his infectious bursts of laughter when something struck him as hilariously funny, and his unique personality. Despite dealing with the loss of his mom, he kept positive and close to those he called brother.
Rahsheed was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Elaine Davenport, and his father, Duane Efrem Bullen. He leaves to cherish in his memory his sons Rahsheed Efrem Bullen Jr. , Kahsheed Bullen and daughters, Rashae Bullen, Raelynn Bullen and Ra’elle Bullen his beloved fiancée, Katie ; his brothers, Efrem Bullen and Andre Simmons; along with a host of loving family members, relatives, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. Though Rahsheed journey on earth has ended, his love, laughter, and memories will remain with all who were blessed to know him. His legacy lives on through his children, family, and the countless lives he touched. *“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still
